I’m Ellen Sheehy. Creating children’s books is my dream, and writing nonfiction is my passion. I love words and pictures almost as much as I love chocolate.
I’m studying Communications and Creative Writing at Black Hills State University. If you walk around campus, you’ll see me helping other students in the Writing Assistance Center, working at the front desk of the Admissions Office, and studying in the library.
I’ve won three Bellman Writing Awards at BHSU and gold and silver keys in the 2022 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. I have published work at Central High School’s Pine Needle and BHSU’s Jacket Journal.
